Interim assessments are designed to support teaching and learning throughout the year. This page includes resources and systems related to the ELPAC Interim Assessments.

Interim Assessment Viewing System
Select this button to view the CAASPP and ELPAC interim assessments for planning, professional development, and/or training purposes.
Test Operations Management System (TOMS)
Select this button to assign user roles for accessing the interim assessments and related systems, to view student test settings prior to interim assessment testing, and to access interim assessment administration and hand scoring materials.
Test Administrator Interface for All Online Tests
Select this button to access the Test Administrator Interface that is used to access all CAASPP and ELPAC online assessments.
Select this button to access the system that will allow display the completion status for students taking all CAASPP and ELPAC assessments.
Teacher Hand Scoring System (THSS)
Select this button to access the system that will allow you to score student responses to interim assessment items that require hand scoring.
California Educator Reporting System (CERS)
Select this button to access results and reports for all CAASPP and ELPAC assessments.
Select this button to access the CERS Sandbox training tool. Username and password are not required. CAST and ELPAC Interim Assessment results are not yet available in the CERS Sandbox.
Select this button to access the DEI, to be used for certain domains of the ELPAC Interim Assessments as well as the Initial ELPAC and Summative ELPAC.
ELPAC Interim Assessment Information
The ELPAC Interim Assessments are aligned with the 2012 California English Language Development Standards, and are organized by domain—Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing—for each of the following grade levels and grade spans:
- Kindergarten
- Grade one
- Grade two
- Grade span three through five
- Grade span six through eight
- Grade span nine and ten
- Grade span eleven and twelve
