A Reading Scoring Keys Table in the Initial ELPAC Kindergarten Examiner’s Manual was mislabeled. The issue occurs on page 100 of the Initial ELPAC Kindergarten Examiner’s Manual and on page 56 of the Initial ELPAC Kindergarten Braille Examiner’s Manual. The first column, second row, of the Reading Scoring Keys incorrectly states, “Read-Along Story with Scaffolding,” and it should be, “Read-Along Word with Scaffolding.” The third row incorrectly states, “Read-Along Information” and it should be, “Read-Along Story with Scaffolding.”
The Writing Rubrics for the ELPAC were updated after the ELPAC practice tests were published in October 2017.
A format mistype appears in the Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) Braille Book Examiner’s Manual, version 12, for grades six through eight. On page 39 of the manual, option choices are listed as E, F, G, and H and should be A, B, C, and D.
The Reading key for the ELPAC practice tests for grades six through eight has a typographical error.
Summative ELPAC Pre-ID labels that were ordered prior to February 8, 2018, include a printing issue that truncates the date of birth on the ninth label of each sheet.
Users of Google Sheets or Apple Numbers are unable to upload orders in the Test Operations Management System (TOMS).
The ELPAC practice tests for grades three through five and six through eight include a statement that is not scientifically accurate. The Oral Presentation on page 10 for grades three through five and page 8 for grades six through eight incorrectly states, "Apples have a lot of iron in them, which causes browning."
The Examiner’s Manual contains a calculation error for the total estimated testing time for the Summative ELPAC in grades three through twelve.
