Unlisted Resources

Unlisted resources must be approved by the California Department of Education (CDE) prior to the student’s testing date.

In the case that a student’s individualized education program (IEP) requires the use of a resource not currently available in the California Assessment Accessibility Resources Matrix External link opens in new window or tab., the use of the resource must be requested using the unlisted resource form in the Test Operations Management System (TOMS) External link opens in new window or tab.. The California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) settings must indicate the student’s IEP or Section 504 plan status to enable selection of accommodations or unlisted resources in the student test settings interface in TOMS. The education program (field 3.13) must be set for “special education” (value 144) or “504 Plan” (value 101).
