ELPAC: 2021–2022 Alternate ELPAC Operational Field Test Post-Test Survey Available
ELPAC email update, December 14, 2021.
Dear California Educator:
On behalf of ETS and the California Department of Education (CDE), we thank you for your hard work and efforts to administer the Alternate English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC). The experiences with and suggestions for the administration of this assessment contained in survey responses is a key source of information needed for the continuous improvement of the Alternate ELPAC.
We invite you to participate in the Alternate ELPAC Post-Test Survey , which will provide ETS and the CDE with valuable feedback regarding improvements to resources, the usability of various test administration systems, and lessons learned from your training and administration experiences. Note that the post-test survey should be completed only after the test has been administered to all of your eligible students.
Although the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on local educational agencies (LEAs) across the state has been immense, many of you have worked diligently in preparing for the testing that helps to provide consistent measures of student progress. As much as assessments help to provide actionable data for informing teaching and learning, it is educator feedback that gives us the information we need to improve the preparation, training, and administration of this assessments for future years.
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your hard work throughout this test administration year!
LEA ELPAC coordinators should direct questions regarding the 2021–2022 Alternate ELPAC to their LEA Success Agent .
Sincerely,
California Outreach Team
