ELPAC email update, October 14, 2021.
Dear Site ELPAC Coordinator,
The California Department of Education (CDE) and the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) project team are urgently searching for California educators who teach students who are both English learners and have significant cognitive disabilities to participate in the development of the Alternate ELPAC. We are currently recruiting for the Alternate ELPAC Standard Setting Workshop, where educators recommend threshold scores between performance levels to the CDE. Standard Setting will take place virtually in two sessions.
- Kindergarten through grade two February 22–25, 2022
- Grades three through twelve February 28–March 3, 2022
Participation in this workshop offers you a chance to have vital input in the development of this assessment. We would be glad to have your voice and expertise included in this workshop.
The ELPAC project team would be happy to guide you through this process. To apply, please contact the ELPAC project team by phone at 916-228-2682 or by email at edopportunities@scoe.net.
Information will be submitted to the CDE for review and approval. If selected, you will be given more information about the meeting.
