ELPAC email update, October 11, 2023.

Dear California Educator:

The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC): The Results Are In—Now What? Virtual Workshop training module series now has a new look and a new module available on the Moodle Training Site (Moodle) .

This virtual workshop series is created for educators, including classroom teachers, coaches, teachers on special assignment, and administrators who play a role in supporting high-quality instruction for English learner (EL) students in the classroom. The virtual workshop modules are designed for local facilitation in small teams but are also accessible as stand-alone learning experiences. The modules include video clips, student work, and reflections from the implementation of these practices with EL students.

The new overview module is an introductory video to orient viewers to specific entry points in the ELPAC workshop module series that are targeted for educators' professional development needs.

Also new this year, the series layout has been redesigned to provide easier access to each of the 14 modules as well as the new overview module. Modules are located in individual courses, and modules 8 through 14 courses are organized by domain.
