Summative ELPAC: Updated Student Score Data Files Now Available
ELPAC email update, September 30, 2021.
Dear LEA ELPAC Coordinator:
The final results for the 2020–21 Summative ELPAC administration are now available. Local educational agencies (LEAs) can access all Summative ELPAC results, including electronic Student Score Reports (SSRs) and the Summative Student Score Data Extract Reports, in the Test Operations Management System (TOMS) and the California Educator Reporting System (CERS) . The 2020–21 Summative ELPAC student data file is updated to include all student results and is now available for download in the "Reports" section of TOMS.
Accessing the ELPAC Student Score Data File
Take the steps outlined in the "Summative ELPAC Student Score Data File Report " section of the TOMS User Guide to access the ELPAC Student Score Data File in TOMS. Note that the LEA's score data file is available in Excel files.
The Student Score Data File can be generated to include either all students who were enrolled in the LEA at the end of the test window ("By Enrolled LEA") or all students who tested in the LEA ("By Tested LEA"). When the 2020–21 results are released to the Test Results for California's Assessments website in early December, the aggregations will reflect students who tested in the LEA.
The Summative ELPAC Student Score Data File includes results for all of the students eligible for the Summative ELPAC, those who have partially tested, who have completed testing, and eligible students who have not tested. Student results will also continue to be available through TOMS , the student information system vendor portal, and CERS .
LEA ELPAC and site ELPAC coordinators can access and download SSRs individually or as one large file. Refer to the How to Download SSRs in TOMS video and the How to Bulk Download Student Score Reports quick reference guide for additional details. SSRs for newly enrolled students will also be part of these downloads.
For more information about electronic SSRs, refer to the ELPAC SSR Options web page. SSRs can be printed locally, but paper SSRs are no longer available for purchase.
Student results as well as preliminary aggregate results at the group, school, and LEA levels are available in CERS .
LEA ELPAC coordinators and site ELPAC coordinators can use CERS to find and view student results. Teachers should contact their site ELPAC coordinators to gain access to CERS. Only LEA ELPAC coordinators and site ELPAC coordinators can set up the student groups for teachers to access. For more information, refer to the CERS User Guide .
