ELPAC email update, September 20, 2023.

Dear LEA CAASPP Coordinator or LEA ELPAC Coordinator:

On behalf of the California Department of Education, ETS invites you to register for the 2023–24 CAASPP and ELPAC Pretest Virtual Training Series . This training series will provide LEA CAASPP coordinators and LEA ELPAC coordinators with information about changes and updates to CAASPP and ELPAC testing for the 2023–24 administration year.

This year, the Pretest Virtual Training Series will be streamlined into two sessions—What's New for the ELPAC and What's New for CAASPP. Content that was present in previous Pretest trainings will be available in the 2023–24 New Coordinator Training Webinar Series as outlined in the previous Training Consolidation Announcement email communication.

Pretest Virtual Training sessions will take place via Zoom on the following dates:

• What's New for the ELPAC
  • Date: Thursday, December 7, 2023
  • Time: 2–4 p.m.
• What's New for CAASPP
  • Date: Thursday, December 14, 2023
  • Time: 2–4 p.m.

Prior to attending the Pretest Virtual Training Series, the New Coordinator Training Webinar Series provides additional recommended training for new coordinators and returning coordinators who would like to attend. The CAASPP 101 and ELPAC 101 videos also provide additional support.
