Register Now! 2022–23 Introduction to CERS for Test Coordinators and Administrators

Dear California Test Coordinators and Administrators:
Registration is now open for the 2022–23 Introduction to the California Educator Reporting System (CERS) for Test Coordinators and Administrators! This training session is designed for staff who are responsible for managing LEA use of the CERS system,i.e.,users who have an LEA or site coordinator role in the Test Operations Management System (TOMS).
This three-hour online training—which will be conducted by the Sacramento County Office of Education on behalf of the California Department of Education—will include opportunities for attendees to practice using various features of CERS. Topics covered include:
- Overview of CERS features for viewing assessment results
- Accessing individual and group results from CAASPP and ELPAC summative assessment results
- Options for viewing Smarter Balanced Interim Assessment Results
- How to manage CERS users
- What resources are available to support staff
- Assigning teachers to their student results
The following training session dates are available:
- July 12, 2022, 1 to 3 p.m.
- July 21, 2022, 9 a.m. to noon
- October 26, 2022, 9 a.m. to noon

Please note: A CERS training session designed for teachers will be offered. The teacher training session will focus on using CERS features and resources available for teachers. Registration for the teacher session will open May 4, 2022. At that time, an email will be sent to all TAs and TEs in the TOMS system. You will receive an email with the information for the teacher training to pass along to teachers.
