ELPAC: Reminder to Join the What’s New Overview for Initial ELPAC AST
ELPAC email update, April 26, 2022.
Dear LEA ELPAC Coordinator:
This is a reminder that the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) will hold an Initial ELPAC What's New Overview Question and Answer Session via Zoom on May 3, 2022, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for LEA ELPAC coordinators and lead trainers. During this session, SCOE will answer test administration and scoring questions for the Initial ELPAC. The Zoom link can also be accessed within the Moodle Training Site (Moodle) .
It is recommended that LEA coordinators send all LEA staff responsible for general ELPAC training, especially any new trainers, to this session. A recording of the Zoom session will be available approximately one week after the session in the Trainer's Resources course in Moodle .
This question and answer session will help trainers review all the training materials available in Moodle. It will include the following:
- Improvements in Moodle
- The location of all training materials
- Updates to training materials
- Suggestions for different training models (in person, self-paced virtual, or hybrid)
ELPAC coordinators and trainers will have the opportunity to ask questions during the session.
Be sure to give the LEA ELPAC trainers the Trainer and Examiner Moodle keys prior to this question and answer session. If desired, to allow the ELPAC trainers reporting access in Moodle, you can request access in the ELPAC Administration and Scoring Training registration site before the session. Questions regarding Moodle can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For further inquiries about the Initial ELPAC What's New Overview, please contact the SCOE ELPAC team by email at email@example.com.
More information can be found on the Initial ELPAC Administration and Scoring Trainings web page on the ELPAC website.
As a reminder, the 2022–23 Initial Alternate ELPAC AST will open in Moodle on June 1, 2022. Information will be presented during the Coffee Session on June 10, 2022.
