CAASPP and ELPAC: Lexile & Quantile Hub Available to California Educators
CAASPP and ELPAC email update, January 29, 2021.
Dear LEA CAASPP or LEA ELPAC Coordinator:
The California Department of Education and Educational Testing Service have partnered with MetaMetrics to offer Lexile® & Quantile® Hub premium tools, free of cost, to California educators. The Lexile & Quantile Hub, an online platform offering educators a variety of instructional and planning resources, features online tools that support student learning and growth in reading and mathematics. Please share this information with district and school staff who may benefit from the use of these tools.
Accessing the Lexile and Quantile Hub
The Lexile & Quantile Hub is now available to all educators with a CAASPP or ELPAC Test Operations Management System (TOMS) user role as part of the single sign on. To access the Lexile & Quantile Hub, log on to TOMS, select the [Links] tab, and then select Lexile & Quantile Hub from the list.
Educators that do not have a TOMS user role can still access the Lexile and Quantile Hub from the Lexile and Quantile Hub Resources web page. Go to hub.lexile.com, select the [Registration] button in the top right of the page, and then complete the fields to create a free account. Self-registration is now available for new users that have an affiliated school district email.

On the Lexile & Quantile Hub, educators will find these innovative tools:
Lexile tools to explore include Find a Book, Analyzer, and Word Lists.
- Use the Find a Book tool to find books at students' reading levels that align with their interests.
Quantile tools to check out are Use the Teacher Assistant, Math@Home, and Math Skills Database.

These are just a few of the tools that are publicly available to get you and your educators started exploring. For a complete list of tools, quick reference guides, and videos of each tool, visit the Lexile & Quantile Hub Resources web page.
